ARA's dedicated Independence in Recovery Centre, situated in Midland Road, Bristol, is the focus for a range of aftercare and support services for people living in Bristol who are committed to remaining abstinent from drugs and alcohol.   Dowload the Independence in Recovery Leaflet
The Centre allows ARA to build further on the success of its Relapse Prevention Service, extend capacity through an increased staff team and offer a comprehensive programme of therapeutic, recreational and vocational activities, including: - weekly relapse prevention groups and one to one counselling - specialist housing, resettlement and floating support - advice and guidance around education and vocational opportunities - volunteering opportunities - personal development and creative workshops - group rooms for self-help groups
		ARA will be extending its advice and guidance services and these will play a prominent part in the support of clients accessing the Centre. Existing partnerships with education providers, community agencies, Lifelong Learning networks and IAG network members will be strengthened to ensure that ARA provides varied, quality opportunities from this unique facility.

If you live in Bristol and would like support to remain abstinent from drugs and alcohol If you feel you would benefit from: Counselling/Groupwork Assistance to access education/training or work opportunities Housing advice/assistance, resettlement and tenancy support If you are returning to the community from: A treatment centre Prison Other treatment service, e.g. community detox

The Centre is open weekdays from 10.00 am to 4.30 pm.
