Residential Rehabilitation Programme
Charging Policy And Information
ARA operates a charging policy as detailed below:
Funding must be secured - or likely to be secured - prior to assessment.
All charges apply from the 7th April 2008 and will be subject to an annual
review.
Under the terms of 'Supporting People' ARA will be able to claim
support costs and admit persons for treatment who hold, and wish to
return to, an existing tenancy. We will not, however, be able to claim
core rent costs in these instances and will therefore require commissioners
to make up the shortfall.
ARA's core rent costs across the 3 residential
properties will - for the 2008/2009 year - be £140.00.
A 2 tier
pricing structure is, therefore, available as follows for the Residential
12-30 week programme:
· clients referred without a tenancy £425 per week
· clients referred with a tenancy £565 per week
Clients each receive £47.25 per week for their daily living
allowance. This meets the individuals need for food and other personal
expenses.
In addition, a weekly Bristol city-wide 'Rover travel pass' is issued
to all clients on the Residential programme.
Money is also provided for each house to have a weekly house meal
and purchase general household goods - i.e. washing and cleaning materials.
Savings, that accumulate from any balance remaining from DSS payments,
are credited and recorded for each client individually.
