ARA provides 1:1 counselling for people experiencing problems with their or a family members gambling. ARA’s 1:1 counselling services cover the whole of South West England and are based at the Bristol and North Somerset offices
ARA works in partnership with GamCare, a registered charity and the leading national authority on the provision of advice, practical help, support and counselling in addressing the social impact of gambling.

Gambling Risk and Harm Minimisation Programme – South Wales
ARA has been selected by the Responsible Gambling Fund to provide a harm minimisation programme to clients in South Wales. The service will begin early in 2012 and will assist clients whose gambling is of concern.
