Aftercare
Floating Support and Resettlement Advice
Key Points
This service is offered as part of ARA's
scheduled continuum of care and will be provided by the Housing Support
Team/Independence in Recovery Service.
Floating Support
Prior to clients being rehoused into self contained flats, a Floating
Support agreement will be drawn up between the client and the Housing
Support Officer. This agreement will detail the level and type of support
needed to enable the client to manage and sustain their housing. The
agreement will be reviewed with the client every 3 months. Appointments
will usually take place in the client's flat.
Resettlement Advice
For Residential clients who have been rehoused into shared accommodation, housing
and welfare benefits advice and assistance will be offered after their
departure in liaison with their current housing provider.
